If you already have a purchase order, attach it to the quote so the merchant can read it alongside your items and notes.
1. Open your quote
Save a draft or submit a request, then open the quote’s detail page in your customer account.
You need permission to place orders at the quote’s company location. The upload option is unavailable on cancelled, declined, expired, or completed-order quotes.
2. Choose and upload the file
Under Purchase-order attachment, choose a file and select Upload attachment.
Supported files are:
- PDF, PNG, or JPEG.
- From 1 byte to 25 MB per file.
- Up to 20 attachments per quote, within the shop’s 5 GB attachment quota.
To import a list of products from a spreadsheet, use the quote request’s CSV input instead. CSV files are not supported as PO attachments.
3. Wait for the scan
The upload is validated and held for a malware scan. Document scanning is pending means the file has arrived but isn’t ready to download.
Use Refresh status to check again. Rejected files are removed. If scanning remains pending or an upload fails, ask the merchant to check the document in Operations.
4. Download the attachment
Find the file under Messages and history. When it is ready, select Prepare download, then the download link. These links are time-limited, so prepare a new one if it has expired.
The merchant can find the same file under Original purchase request on the quote.
Using the document on another quote
Attachments belong to the quote where they were uploaded. If the merchant duplicates that quote for a new order, the files are not copied. Upload the document again if it applies to the new request.
What to expect
Your purchase-order document stays with the quote and becomes downloadable after it passes scanning.
