Find the buyer’s request, check who’s handling it, and read the latest notes before you reply. Your team gets the same view of the quote, whether it started in a customer account or over the phone.
Adjust quantities, suggest a replacement, or offer a better unit price. Send the proposal with a message and PDF. If the buyer asks for changes, make a new revision with the earlier offer still on record.
Once the buyer accepts and conversion checks pass, QuoteWick creates a Shopify draft order with the agreed items and prices. The invoice link stays on the quote, ready for the buyer to continue.
What you’ll need and how the quoting process works.
Who is QuoteWick for?
Shopify B2B merchants and sales teams who agree on prices before an order is placed. Your team works in Shopify Admin, and buyers request and review quotes in their customer accounts. Buyers need a B2B company location with permission to place orders.
Can we create quotes for phone or email enquiries?
Yes. Select Create quote in the merchant inbox, choose a company, contact, and location, then add the items. You can also duplicate an earlier quote with fresh catalog prices and payment terms. Staff drafts stay hidden from the buyer until you send an offer.
How do buyers request a quote?
Add the QuoteWick page to Shopify customer accounts and its menu. Buyers can search the catalog, paste SKUs and quantities, or upload a CSV. They can save a draft, submit a request, and attach a purchase-order PDF or image from the quote.
Can QuoteWick remind buyers about an offer?
Yes. After setting up email delivery and the customer-account review URL, you can enable unanswered-offer and pre-expiry reminders. Choose the timing in Settings. Reminders stop when the buyer responds, the offer changes, or the quote closes.
What happens when a buyer accepts?
Acceptance starts conversion into a Shopify draft order. If the checks pass, the agreed items and prices carry over and an invoice link becomes available. If the quote needs review, your team can resolve the issue. Shipping, taxes, checkout, and payment follow in Shopify.
Can buyers ask for changes or decline an offer?
Yes. On an eligible quote, buyers can send a change request or cancel or decline with a reason. Your team can prepare a new revision, with earlier published offers kept for comparison and PDF download.
Which languages are included?
English, French, German, and Spanish are supported across the app, standard notifications, and PDF labels. Product names, messages, email introductions, and custom terms stay as you write them.
Where do company prices and payment terms come from?
QuoteWick uses the buyer’s Shopify company location for catalog access, prices, quantity rules, applicable volume tiers, and payment terms. Your team can negotiate offered prices in the editor and review discounts and margins when unit cost is available.
