CATALOG PRICING AND TERMS

Start with their
company’s prices.

Prepare each quote using the buyer’s Shopify company-location catalog, quantity rules, and applicable volume tiers. Your team can negotiate from that starting point with payment terms kept alongside the offer.

Use the buyer’s catalog

Resolve product availability, currency, and catalog prices for the selected company location.

Account for order quantities

Check minimums, maximums, and quantity multiples, and use applicable volume prices for the requested quantity.

Compare catalog and offered prices in the editor, with discounts and margins shown when unit cost is available.

HOW IT WORKS

Keep the company’s
terms in view.

Choose the ordering location

Buyer requests and merchant-created quotes use an authorized company location. Its Shopify configuration provides the catalog context and payment terms for the quote.

Negotiate with current catalog information

Your team sets the offered unit prices. Saving quantity changes refreshes the catalog reference while retaining negotiated prices, and sending checks current catalog details again.

Preserve the agreed payment terms

Payment terms are saved with the offer. Staff can refresh them from Shopify in the editor; changes after an offer is sent require a new offer and buyer acceptance.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Worth knowing.

Where do catalog rules and payment terms come from?

They come from the buyer’s Shopify company location. Configure them in Shopify, then use QuoteWick to prepare and negotiate the quote.

Does the margin display enforce approval limits?

No. It gives your team pricing context when unit cost is available. QuoteWick does not currently enforce margin floors or discount approvals.
