You can request a quote from the merchant’s customer-account page and return there to review the offer.
Before you begin
Sign in to your customer account and open QuoteWick. Your account needs a B2B company location with permission to place orders. If you can’t find the page, ask the merchant whether it has been added to the account menu.
1. Select your company location
In Request for quote, select the Company location for this purchase. The selected location determines your B2B context, including catalog access and payment terms.
Add a PO number if you already have one. It’s optional, but it can help you and the merchant identify the request later.
2. Choose how to add your items
Use Input method to choose the way that suits your order:
- Catalog search: search by SKU, barcode, title, or vendor. Select Add beside the products you need.
- Paste SKU and quantity: enter one SKU and quantity per line.
- CSV file: choose a CSV with a
sku,quantityheader, up to 256 KB.
A simple CSV looks like this:
sku,quantity
STL-001,50
MUG-002,80
Use the merchant’s actual SKUs in your request. For catalog search, enter at least two characters and use Load more results if the first set doesn’t include your item.
3. Review quantities and context
For catalog items, set Qty and follow any displayed minimum, maximum, or multiple rules. Select Price to check the B2B price for the current quantity, including applicable volume pricing.
Open Delivery instructions / notes to add anything the sales team should know, such as a project reference or requested delivery date.
Remove any products you no longer need before submitting.
4. Submit now or save for later
Choose Submit quote request when you’re ready for the merchant to review it.
If you’re still gathering details, choose Save draft. Open the saved quote later and use Edit saved draft to make changes. When it’s ready, select Submit saved request.
Saving a draft and submitting a request are different steps. Submit the request when you want the sales team to take action.
5. Attach a purchase order if you have one
After saving or submitting, open the quote and use Purchase-order attachment to upload a PDF, PNG, or JPEG up to 25 MB. The file becomes available for download after scanning. See Attach a purchase-order document.
6. Review the merchant’s offer
Return to the quote to see the current offer, product quantities, offered prices, payment terms, and validity date. A published offer can also include a downloadable PDF.
If changes are needed and the action is available, enter your notes under Requested changes and choose Send change request. If the offer works for you, follow Accept a quote and continue to Shopify.
If you no longer need the quote, you can cancel or decline it when those actions are available.
Find a saved or earlier quote
In the quote list, search by quote or PO number and filter by status or company location. You’ll see quotes allowed by your Shopify company-location role. An ordering-only buyer sees their own contact’s quotes; a location admin can see quotes across their authorized location.
What to expect
The merchant can review your submitted items and notes and prepare an offer for you.
